Instruments of Peace is an initiative led by Maestro Diego Carneiro and partners, bringing quality instruments and music education opportunities to underserved and conflict-affected communities. Music becomes not only a source of healing, but also a path to empowerment and peacebuilding for youth.
To make this project sustainable, we have set a fundraising goal of $50,000 USD. These funds will cover:
Donations & Procurement – acquiring and shipping instruments where they are most needed
Repairs – restoring gently used instruments to professional quality
Music Education Classes – creating access to structured lessons and workshops
Supporting Youth & Communities – turning at-risk hours into rehearsal hours, and building safe, creative spaces for young people
Facility Rent – securing a home base where students can learn, rehearse, and grow through music
In addition, we are planning a documentary film to share the journey of Instruments of Peace—telling the stories of the youth, the communities, and the global network of supporters who make this vision possible.
